CMT Laboratory Technician

NOVA Engineering is seeking a CMT Lab Technician to join our Construction Materials Testing department in Panama City Beach, FL. This position is primarily laboratory-based and will focus on breaking concrete cylinders and recording concrete strength and quality results as part of NOVA's quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) testing program. Occasional field assignments may be required.

Responsibilities:

* Perform concrete compressive strength testing by breaking concrete cylinders in accordance with ASTM/ACI standards

* Accurately record, document, and report test results to verify material quality and compliance

* Maintain clear and organized laboratory records using electronic reporting systems

* Assist with proper curing, storage, handling, and preparation of concrete test specimens

* Maintain, calibrate, and care for laboratory testing equipment

* Follow all company safety policies and laboratory procedures

* Collect concrete samples and assist with basic field observations as needed

* Communicate test results with Project Managers, engineers, and laboratory staff

Required Qualifications:

* ACI Aggregate Testing Technician

* ACI Concrete Laboratory Testing Technician - Level I

* Prior CMT field and laboratory testing experience
