* This is a consulting position *

Serve as a Diving and Hyperbaric Research Scientist in the Decompression Group of the Biomedical Research Department (N32). The position’s effort is accomplished primarily through telework, with on‑site status in Panama City Beach, FL only through request by the NEDU N32 department head.

• Support the data analysis and report generation and acceptance by sponsor for TA‑23‑23.
• Support data analysis and report generation for additional Decompression Group tasks, including but not limited to TA‑21‑07, TA‑22‑19, TA‑23‑10.

• PhD engineer, scientist, physician or equivalent with subject matter expertise in diving and hyperbaric physiology.
• Intricate knowledge of the topics included in the above tasks.
• Extensive experience in reviewing and synthesizing scientific information, including journal articles, technical reports, research proposals, experimental protocols, and processing raw or compiled data.
• Extensive experience conducting human subject research.
• U.S. citizen with eligibility for a secret clearance.
