Position: Assistant Manager

Location: Shimmering Seas Jewelry Boutique, Pier Park, Panama City Beach, FL (Steps from the Sea)

Shimmering Seas is a coastal-inspired jewelry boutique located in the heart of Pier Park. We are seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Assistant Manager who loves people, enjoys fashion and jewelry, and thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

As Assistant Manager, you will help lead daily store operations, inspire exceptional customer experiences, support sales growth, and assist in developing a positive team culture.

• Deliver outstanding customer service and create memorable shopping experiences
• Assist with daily store operations and opening/closing procedures
• Support and motivate team members to achieve sales goals
• Build relationships with customers and encourage repeat business
• Maintain beautiful visual merchandising and store presentation
• Assist with inventory management, receiving merchandise, and stock organization
• Help train and coach team members on customer service and sales techniques
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and positively
• Support special events, promotions, and seasonal initiatives
• Lead by example with a positive attitude and strong work ethic

• Previous sales experience required
• Strong customer service background
• Previous Retail Experience very helpful
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Outgoing, friendly, and engaging personality
• Passion for serving others and helping customers feel valued
• Interest in fashion, jewelry, and current trends
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude
• Comfortable leading and supporting a team
• Basic computer and point-of-sale (POS) system skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift merchandise displays
