Stormwater Cleaning & Inspecting – Skilled Trades WorkerDo you enjoy working outdoors and take pride in maintaining public infrastructure? In this role, you'll help keep stormwater systems and roadway rights-of-way safe, functional, and well maintained.
- Inspect, clean, and repair stormwater conveyance systems
- Restore roadways and rights-of-way after maintenance
- Operate CCTV, jetting, vacuum, and excavation equipment
- Investigate drainage issues and respond to customer concerns
- Complete work orders and support emergency response
Enjoy hands-on outdoor work maintaining, constructing, and repairing Sarasota County's stormwater infrastructure and road right-of-way systems.
- Maintain and repair stormwater conveyance systems
- Restore roadways and rights-of-way after repairs
- Operate construction and maintenance equipment
- Respond to drainage, erosion, and stormwater concerns
- Complete work orders and support emergency response
Put your heavy equipment skills to work maintaining Sarasota County's stormwater infrastructure. In this role, you'll operate specialized machinery while supporting the construction, maintenance, and repair of stormwater conveyance systems and roadway rights-of-way.
- Operate heavy equipment for stormwater maintenance and construction
- Support installation, repair, and restoration projects
- Perform routine equipment inspections and maintenance
- Respond to stormwater emergencies and service requests
- Complete work orders and daily documentation

- 5:00 p.m. - 40-hour work weeks with opportunity of overtime

Minimum Qualifications:
- Skilled Trades Worker I:
Starting Pay: $20.10 (Step
