This role is for a Generative AI Engineer on a contract basis, hybrid remote in Panama City, FL, paying $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. Requires 3–5+ years in AI/software engineering, proficiency in Python, full‑stack development, and cloud experience.

This position is focused on designing, building, and deploying enterprise‑ready GenAI applications — not traditional data science or model training. The engineer will take solutions from concept through architecture, implementation, and production deployment. The ideal candidate operates independently and can translate business needs into scalable, production‑ready AI systems.

• Design and deliver generative AI applications from concept to production.
• Translate business requirements into GenAI system architectures.
• Build and maintain full‑stack applications (frontend + backend).
• Implement LLM integrations using RAG, prompt engineering, tool calling, and API workflows.
• Develop LLM‑powered tools, internal platforms, and APIs.
• Apply Dev Ops best practices (CI/CD, containerization, monitoring, deployment automation).
• Ensure enterprise‑grade reliability, security, and governance.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally while owning technical execution.
• Evaluate and prototype emerging GenAI tools and platforms.

• Bachelor’s degree in CS, IT, Engineering, or related field (ABET‑accredited preferred).
• 3–5+ years of professional experience in AI/software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Full‑stack development experience.
• Experience building and shipping production software systems.
• Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Dev Ops experience (CI/CD pipelines, containerization, deployment automation).
• API design and integration experience.
• Proficiency with Git Hub or similar source control tools.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.

• Hands‑on experience building LLM‑powered applications.
• Experience with agentic/orchestration frameworks (Lang Chain, Lang Graph, Auto Gen, or similar).
• Experience in energy, utilities, or industrial systems (solar PV, energy storage, transmission, wind is a plus).

Contract. $35.00 – $40.00 per hour.
