Emerald Coast Behavioral Hospital provides inpatient treatment services to adolescents and adults in an 86‑bed facility and outpatient services across four centers in the Florida Panhandle. The Transporter / Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of patients to and from medical facilities, diagnostic centers, ERs, military bases, discharge placements, and other off‑site locations using hospital vehicles.

• Drive an assigned route, transporting patient(s) to and from various locations such as physician offices, diagnostic centers, ERs, military bases, and discharge placements.
• Maintain passenger confidence by keeping shared information strictly confidential.
• Plan the safest route to transport patient(s) to destination.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Prior health care experience, preferably in an acute behavioral setting preferred.
• Active driver’s license with a record that meets Facility and Corporate Risk requirements.
• Ability to transport patients within 8 hours of facility utilizing company vehicle; some overnight trips required.
• Ability to access military bases preferred.
• Ability to work on an as‑needed basis.
