** Pay Rate:*

** What you'll be doing as a Yard Dog Driver:*
* + Safely hook up, move, and position trailers in tight spaces, docks, and storage spots

+ Operate yard trucks (yard mules/hostlers) to move trailers and containers within the yard or between dock doors

+ Spot and position trailers safely and efficiently for loading and unloading

+ Inspect trailers for damage or safety issues and report findings to supervisors

+ Ensure all trailer moves are properly logged and tracked

+ Maintain organization of the yard to ensure smooth traffic flow

+ Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse, and dock personnel to coordinate trailer movement

+ Perform basic vehicle inspections and routine maintenance checks

+ Follow all safety policies, traffic patterns, and procedures on company property

+ Trailer Maneuvering:
Safely hook up, move, and position trailers in tight spaces, docks, and storage spots

** Available shifts:*
* Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

* Job requirements:

* + Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with People Ready

+ Previous experience as a Yard Jockey, Yard Mule Operator, or similar position preferred

+ Ability to operate tractor-trailer equipment safely in tight spaces

+ Strong attention to safety and detail

+ Ability to work in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs

+ Reliable and punctual with good communication skills

+ Class A CDL required

+ Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) card

+ Background Check Required
