Safely drive daily bus routes and maintain the cleanliness of Bay District School Buses. Transport school aged children to and from assigned bus stops to their respective schools, and back home again. Safely transport children to and from field and activity trips, as well as school sporting events transportation.
No Commercial Drivers License (CDL)? NO PROBLEM - we offer paid training and in-house testing at our facility to qualify you to be a Florida school bus driver (subject to a one year employment commitment).

FULL TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE. School bus drivers are on split shift work (morning and afternoon routes with a 4+ hour break in between).
** Verifiable safe full time CDL driving experience is considered when setting initial wages.**
RequirementsHave a driver's license for 5 years with a good driving record.
Can successfully pass a criminal background investigation check.
Can pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol screening and federal Department of Transportation physical.

Full time positions have benefits:
Blue Cross Blue Shield, Dental, Vision, Florida State retirement pension plan or 401k your choice! Drivers are guaranteed 6-8 hours minimum daily on school days by contract.
Weekends off! Holidays off! Any time kids are out of school, you are also off work, and some federal holidays are paid time off. Thanksgiving break is one week, winter break is two weeks, spring break is one week, and summer vacation is approximately two months.
Pay is $17.50+ per hour for 2026/2027 school year depending on experience.
