North Point Rehabilitation & Skilled Nursing – Charge Nurse (RN)

Paola, KS | Shift: Evening | Pay: $33/hour | Employment Status:
Full-Time

• Oversee nursing services, administration, and clinical supervision during assigned shifts
• Ensure compliance with nursing care standards, policies, and procedures
• Supervise and guide nursing staff, including LPNs, CNAs, and CMAs
• Complete and update resident assessments, care plans, and clinical documentation
• Communicate changes in resident condition to families, physicians, and nursing leadership
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and facility protocols
• Conduct routine rounds to ensure resident needs are being met
• Address, document, and report incidents, accidents, and concerns, including suspected abuse or neglect
• Ensure appropriate supplies, equipment, and medications are available and communicated to leadership
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to promote quality care and resident safety
• Uphold Americare’s mission, vision, values, and company policies

• Licensure / Certification: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required

  Skills:
  
  Strong clinical judgment and leadership skills; familiarity with state and federal nursing regulations; experience in skilled nursing, long‑term care, or senior living preferred

• Physical Demands: Lift up to 25 lbs.; assist with resident transfers as needed; push, pull, and maneuver up to 100 lbs., including resident mobility assistance up to 350 lbs.
