Tax Preparer Lead – ATAX Omaha
Location: Papillion, NE
Pay: $20 – $30 per hour (depending on experience)
Schedule: Full-time or part-time; flexible; weekends during Tax Season
Work Location: In-Person (Omaha-based office)

ATAX Omaha is looking for an experienced tax preparer to take on a lead role supporting our team. We are sourcing candidates in the Papillion, NE area. This position is based out of our Omaha office and combines hands-on tax preparation with team support.
About the RoleYou’ll prepare tax returns while helping ensure quality, consistency, and a positive client experience.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare individual and small business tax returns
- Review work for accuracy and compliance
- Assist with workflow during peak tax season
- Support team members as needed
- Provide excellent client service
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer-focused mindset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Tax software experience preferred
