This Apprenticeship is geared to a current high school senior or a recent high school graduate looking to kickstart their automotive career!
The H+H Group is offering a full-time, paid, Automotive Apprenticeship through our H+H University Apprenticeship Program (Registered Department of Labor) —and no prior experience is required.
Why this Apprenticeship is different?
- Education value of $5,600 in paid classroom time, dedicated to learning at no cost to you!
- No cost textbook loan program (textbooks and/or access to digital media is a big cost to college students).
- $3,600 tool allowance - begins in phase 2 (6-months from program start date.
As an H+H University Automotive Apprentice, you'll learn side-by-side with experienced Technicians and gain hands-on skills in:
- Performing basic vehicle inspections and maintenance.
- Understanding automotive systems and diagnostics.
- Assisting with repairs under Mentorship.
- Using tools and equipment safely and effectively.
- Building technical knowledge while working in a professional shop environment.
- Shop hours:
Monday thru Friday 7am to 6pm. Saturday 8am to 1pm.
You'll progress through a structured training program designed to help you become a skilled Automotive Service Technician with a nationally recognized certification.

Do you have a passion for cars and a curiosity about how they work? This is your chance to learn the automotive industry from a Technician's perspective! - Interest in Automotive:
Basic vehicle knowledge and a willingness to learn. (Taking auto mechanics classes is a bonus, but not required!) - Positive Energy:
Bring a great attitude and enthusiasm to the team. - Adaptability:
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively. - Hands-On Work:
Comfortable standing for long periods and working with your hands. - Physical Readiness:
Able to bend, push, climb, twist, reach, kneel, and perform other movements needed for the job. - Requirements:
Must pass pre-employment screenings (drug test, background check and lift assessment). - Driving Eligibility:
Valid driver's license and clean driving record required for candidates 18+.
Prior mechanical experience is helpful but absolutely not required —we'll teach you everything you need to know.
