• Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in data center operations or other operational experience in non‑data center industries (e.g., power generation, HVAC and refrigeration, industrial manufacturing, military, oil and gas, maritime/marine, chemical cluster).
• 5 years of experience managing technical teams and vendors in charge of operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and controls infrastructure and components.

• Master's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Experience in collaborating with other business units to meet company goals and standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems in a data center environment.
• Ability to collaborate at all levels with excellent people management and leadership skills.

• Lead efforts to perform compliance activities for a data center and analyze compliance results for data centers globally, ensuring regional and global teams comply with project and schedule guidelines and Google design standards.
• Drive efforts to monitor data center systems operations, control site activities to minimize risk, and ensure an effective response to any excursions.
• Drive efforts to ensure sites follow facility, maintenance, and standard programs globally while improving policies and programs.
• Lead the development of strategies to keep operational costs to a minimum, improve efficiency, and reduce environmental impact at a site, while driving site‑level development of programs and initiatives.
• Incorporate subject‑matter expertise and experience to make recommendations for data center design improvements to optimize equipment and operations for next‑generation data centers.

US: $138,000 - $201,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + bonus + equity + benefits
