QC Inspector Location - Papillion, NE
Applicants will be notified via phone or email within ten (10) business days of submittal.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Conduct and document daily inspection of work.
- Verifying that all work is in conformance with contract specification requirements.
- Verify that all safety rules and regulations are being adhered.
- Communicate and work with the Client's Quality Assurance staff.
- Communicate and work with the Project Support staff - QCM, SSHO, Superintendent, Site Coordinator.
- Education Requirements:
High School or GED - Level of Experience Requirements: 10+ years of demonstratable experience on levee projects for USEPA or USACE.
- 10+ years of demonstratable experience working on government projects.
- Has a current USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors
- Has demonstratable experience as the Quality Control Manager (or alternate) on USACE projects.
- Has completed a 30-hour OSHA Construction/General Industry Safety Course.
- Has completed a 10-hour OSHA Construction Safety Course.
- Has completed college level course work in construction management or civil/environmental engineering.
- Experience in tracking quality control requirements in government projects.
- Experience as a supervisor (foreman, superintendent, etc.) or technical staff (field engineer, sampling technician, site coordinator, etc.) on civil projects.
- Basic level computer skills - MSWord, MS Excel, email.
- Ability to complete and file paperwork in an organized and legible form.
- Experience in RMS.

Physical Setting:
The job is performed in an outdoor setting with exposure to all weather conditions - rain, snow, cold and hot temperatures. Requires an extensive amount of driving during each shift.
The work schedule will require working more than 8 hours per shift, nominally working Monday through Friday, work on weekends will be occasionally required.
Other Pertinent Work Details- The job requires the use of smart phones, cameras, tablets, computers, printers, navigation systems, and surveying equipment both in the field and in the office.
- The use of personal protective equipment is required - hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, safety vests, hearing protection, etc.
- As a condition of employment, you will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and have acceptable background check results. If applicable to the contract, you must also obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance levels required and must also be able to obtain access to military installations.
