- Ashbury Elementary –2025-26 School Year Description
Preschool teachers work closely with families and ancillary service providers to ensureyoung students begin their school experience with a solid foundation of developmentally appropriate skills and abilities, and families clearly understand the important role they serve as their children enter school. Responsibilities of this position include, teaching in a preschool classroom, resource support and case management for students with special needs and home visits.
QualificationsNebraska Department of Education Certification Special Education PK or Special Education with Early Childhood Endorsement.
SalaryThe school district pays based on a Negotiated Pay Scale determined by degree and years of experience.
BenefitsPLCS pays 100% of the healthcare premium for employee only PPO insurance plans and all high deductible plans. PLCS pays 93% of the premium for all other PPO plans. Through the Nebraska School Employees Retirement System 9.78% of the gross salary is deposited into a retirement account. The District matches the contribution at the rate of 101%.
