Kindergarten Teacher Aide; Part Time

St. Columbkille Catholic School is seeking a caring, positive, and dependable Kindergarten Teacher Aide to support our kindergarten program for the  school year. The ideal candidate enjoys working with young children, collaborates well with teachers, and helps foster a safe, faith‑filled, and engaging classroom environment.

• Assisting kindergarten teachers with daily classroom activities and routines
• Supporting students individually and in small groups
• Helping prepare instructional materials and classroom projects
• Supervising students during classroom transitions, recess, lunch, and other activities as needed
• Assisting with classroom organization, cleanup, and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Reinforcing classroom expectations and procedures
• Supporting the Catholic mission and values of the school
• Maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions
• Performing other duties as assigned by the principal or classroom teacher

• Ability to work positively and collaboratively with young children and staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, flexibility, and a nurturing demeanor
• Ability to follow teacher direction and work independently when needed
• Basic organizational and classroom management skills
• Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
• Dependability, professionalism, and willingness to be part of a team

• Previous experience working with children in a school, childcare, camp, or related setting preferred
• Safe Environment Certification completed or willingness to complete training requirements
