- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in program or project management.
- 5 years of experience working with data centers, multinational, and technical construction programs or projects.
- 5 years of experience in the construction of technology facilities with the focus on planning, scheduling or field roles such as superintendent.
- 3 years of experience with engineering and construction project planning and scheduling.
- 3 years of experience with industry standards scheduling tools and software (e.g., Primavera P6).
- 7 years of experience managing cross‑functional or cross‑team projects.
- 7 years of data center construction experience.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead multi‑disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross‑functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to co‑ordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As an Area Schedule Lead you will have responsibility for multiple campuses and drive the efficient delivery of Google’s Data Center Portfolio through creating and managing schedules that support data center project execution, leading, planning and scheduling implementation with our general contractors and managed service suppliers, partnering with project managers and working directly with project teams to support schedule implementation including setup, training, execution and assurance, driving schedule acceleration analyses and identifying opportunities for faster schedules, directing engagement in schedule review and negotiations with the Main/Sub Contracts with regard to achieving alignment and acceptance of a common plan, overseeing major change introduction to project schedules driven by evolving business needs, leading initiatives for continuous improvement of schedule development and management, and collaborating with Google Data Center (GDC) Partner Teams and Engineering Groups to support the delivery and management of portfolio.
