* Minimum qualifications:

* + Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
+ 8 years of experience in program management.
+ Experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs.

+ Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical fields.

Experience with data center specific or equivalent equipment/environments, including switch gear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, building controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and a working understanding of start up/commissioning processes.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you'll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish.
You'll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.
As a Technical Program Manager, Advanced Manufacturing and Data Center Design, you have experience in the area of complex, multi-disciplinary, and geographically dispersed advanced manufacturing and data center design, development, construction and commissioning projects. You will provide project management of large-scale advanced manufacturing, data centers, networking, AC power distribution/conversion and cooling methods at multiple scales. You will manage complex schedules, budgets, and broad inter-dependencies.
You will have extensive experience managing large-scale technical projects in a changing industry, being able to tolerate ambiguity, and demonstrate problem solving leadership with limited oversight.
This role would be covering the US-Midwest region.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
