Wastewater Treatment Manager
Location: Lumber Bridge, North Carolina (Onsite)

OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Manager to oversee the daily operations of a water treatment plant and associated well systems at a large industrial facility. This role is critical in ensuring consistent water quality, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across the site.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise in water/wastewater treatment, leadership capabilities, and a commitment to environmental compliance and workplace safety.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee and maintain all water treatment plant operations, including wells, equipment, chemical inventory, and preventative maintenance programs
- Ensure optimal water quality and supply to support facility-wide operations
- Monitor system performance by analyzing operational data, logs, and treatment outcomes; implement improvements as needed
- Maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory agencies
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental regulations and permitting requirements
- Supervise and lead water treatment operators, including scheduling, training, and performance management
- Promote and maintain a safe working environment with proper tools, equipment, and safety practices
- Coordinate with environmental and operational teams to support overall site objectives
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 5+ years of experience in water and/or wastewater treatment operations
- Valid Water Treatment license with required endorsements
- Strong knowledge of environmental compliance standards and state/federal regulations (including EPA guidelines)
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage day-to-day plant operations
- Full-time, onsite position
