Position: Mortgage Loan Partner 2

Mortgage Loan Partner 2 (LP2):
Pre-Approval Specialist

We are seeking a driven and detail‑oriented Loan Partner 2 (LP2) to manage borrower prequalification, pre‑approvals, and pipeline execution for a high‑performing mortgage team. The LP2 plays a critical role in ensuring loans are structured properly, communicated clearly, and closed on time.

This role works closely with the Loan Officer, borrowers, processors, underwriters, and third‑party partners to maintain 95%+ on‑time closings while delivering a concierge‑level borrower and referral partner experience.

Responsibilities
  • Prequalify:
    Serve as an available resource for referral partners; engage in soft qualification conversations to assess general borrower readiness and scenario viability; answer referral partner questions such as general loan structure questions, condo warrant ability, and bank statement borrower scenarios.
  • Pre‑Approve:
    Accurately pre‑approve qualified borrowers; prepare payment and scenario requests; proactively engage pre‑approved buyers; communicate effectively with all referral partners using clear, accurate, and compliant language.
  • Pipeline Management:
    Onboard all new contracts for rate lock consultation; submit applications for processing and disclosures; execute borrower updates, pre‑closing, and funding calls; ensure 95%+ of loans close on time; resolve 95%+ loan issues prior to LO escalation.
Qualifications
  • Active NMLS license.
  • Minimum 5 years of mortgage loan officer assistant, processing, underwriting, or origination experience.
  • Proficient in DU/DO, LP, and investor guidelines.
  • Experience with major LOS platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Completion of regulatory and compliance training.
Compensation

Base salary $60,000+ per year + per file bonus.
