Respiratory Technician - Papillion Job Papillion area,Nebraska USA,Healthcare

As a Respiratory Technician, you will be responsible for all aspects of respiratory home care while providing excellent one-on-one patient care. General work times are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday with rotating on call weekends. This position is located at our Papillion location.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

Deliver and pickup oxygen cylinders, equipment, and supplies to and from patients
Review orders before and after delivery to ensure orders are complete, the charges are correct, and the patient is satisfied
Load and unload items from vehicles
Record and track oxygen cylinder lot numbers
Clean and provide maintenance on DME and respiratory equipment
Assist with routine oxygen concentrator checks
Provide excellent customer service, answer questions, and handle patient questions and issues
Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules
Abide by all transportation laws and maintain a safe driving record
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

High school diploma or equivalent
Valid and insurable driver's license
Ability to lift equipment of 50 lbs (oxygen concentrators) frequently
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent customer service and people skills
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
