Job Description

The IT Systems Coordinator will manage device lifecycle management, including imaging, deploying, and maintaining end-user computers; administration and support of the college’s server environment; management of user access and permissions in Active Directory and Grouper; and providing advanced technical support for issues escalated beyond the CoB ITS Help Desk.

This position will lead annual hardware refresh projects, support one-off device purchases, ensure the stability and security of server infrastructure, and perform access control tasks for college and university-wide solutions.

Minimum

Required Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent education/experience and experience providing technology support
  • Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of computer and server administration
  • Experience working in Active Directory
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience providing IT support in an academic setting and managing technology projects
  • Previous experience of supervising others in a technology setting
  • Experience with client management tools such as SCCM, JAMF, Intune, or similar tools
  • Experience working with third-party vendors
  • Experience working in a ticketing system
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a project or team effectively
  • Experience working with macOS and Windows computers
