The Manufacturing Quality Technician ensures electrical panels and manufactured products meet company, customer, and industry quality standards. This role performs inspections, electrical testing, documentation, and quality verification throughout the manufacturing process while supporting safety, compliance, and continuous improvement efforts.
Responsibilities- Perform quality inspections and electrical testing during multiple stages of production
- Conduct panel testing using voltmeters and hand tools to verify functionality, labeling, and power distribution
- Inspect products for compliance with drawings, specifications, SOPs, and quality standards
- Document inspection results, test data, and corrective actions
- Identify and communicate safety or quality issues to the Quality Assurance Manager
- Support root cause analysis, 5 Whys, and continuous improvement (CI) initiatives
- Assist with quality audits and ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Follow established safety procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Collaborate with production teams to improve product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience with quality inspection, manufacturing, or electrical assembly preferred
- Ability to use a voltmeter, testing equipment, and hand tools
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and NEC standards preferred
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Ability to read blueprints or electrical schematics preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Results-driven, safety-focused mindset
- Ability to routinely lift 50-75 lbs

This role operates in a manufacturing environment with exposure to electrical equipment, moderate noise, dust, and industrial conditions. Candidates must follow all safety standards and be comfortable working around energized equipment.
