We are actively seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team. You will serve as the face of the company in the Midwest territory, acting as a critical resource for our clients. You will manage extensive regional driving and some flying, bringing technical expertise directly to customer sites.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues on manufacturing equipment with a heavy focus on electrical systems.
- Utilize PLCs to effectively troubleshoot and isolate equipment faults.
- Act as a calm, solutions‑oriented communicator capable of diffusing stressful situations and solving customer problems on the spot.
We are looking for doers who take pride in US‑built machinery and possess a strong technical aptitude.
- Open to seasoned Field Service Technicians, Maintenance Mechanics open to travel, Assembly Technicians, or Engineers willing to learn the hands‑on mechanical work.
- Manufacturing equipment experience is required. Food processing or packaging experience is a plus, but experience with any heavy manufacturing equipment is welcome.
- Must be exceptionally strong on the electrical side, with the ability to troubleshoot using PLCs.
- Ability to read schematics and AutoCAD. Candidates with Tool and Die experience or existing trade skill certifications will stand out.
- Excellent communicator, adaptable, level‑headed, and dedicated to customer satisfaction.
