Position: Group Facilitator - Choosing Non-Violence Group for Men (Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault)

Summary of Work

Provide individual, family and group counseling and facilitation.

Compensation

$25.00 per hour

Work Schedule

3 hours per week;
Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Domestic violence experience
  • LMHP preferred
  • Batter’s Intervention Program (BIP) training preferred
  • Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record
  • Group facilitation skill preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Co‑facilitate the Choosing Non‑Violence Group for Men.
  • Assist in developing group topics.
  • Provide referrals as needed.
  • Maintain required records.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Display a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
  • Cooperate and collaborate with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
  • Maintain regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis.
  • Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
  • Develop personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
  • Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self‑care plan.
  • Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend‑raising efforts.
  • Perform other program related duties as assigned.
  • This job is performed on an onsite company location.
