Summary of WorkProvide individual, family and group counseling and facilitation.
Compensation$25.00 per hour
Work Schedule3 hours per week;
Tuesday, 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Domestic violence experience
- LMHP preferred
- Batter’s Intervention Program (BIP) training preferred
- Valid driver’s license/acceptable driving record
- Group facilitation skill preferred
- Co‑facilitate the Choosing Non‑Violence Group for Men.
- Assist in developing group topics.
- Provide referrals as needed.
- Maintain required records.
- Maintain confidentiality.
- Display a courteous and caring attitude at all times to the clientele, volunteers, and visitors of the Agency.
- Cooperate and collaborate with program area staff, volunteers, and other Agency staff.
- Maintain regular, prompt attendance at the office on a consistent and reliable basis.
- Abide by all specific program and Agency procedures, policies, and requirements.
- Develop personal and program related skills through participation in internal and external training opportunities including printed material and audio and/or visual media.
- Create, maintain and share as appropriate a dynamic self‑care plan.
- Strive to make connections between the agency and the larger community whenever possible in order to contribute to the agency’s ongoing fundraising and friend‑raising efforts.
- Perform other program related duties as assigned.
