- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the emergency department.
- Triage patients according to severity of condition and medical history.
- Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patients' vital signs and medical information.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.
- Prepare patients for diagnostic tests, examinations, and treatments.
- Maintainaccurateandtimelypatient records and documentation.
- Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols.
- Respond promptly to emergency situations and initiate life‑saving measures.
- Maintain knowledge of current emergency nursing practices and technologies.
- Participate in continuous professional development and training activities.
- Assistin managing and restocking medical supplies and equipment.
- Bachelor or Associates of Science in Nursing preferred.
Additionalstaterequirementsas applicable. Graduate of an accredited nursing program - Registered Nursein the State.
- BLS,ACLSand PALS.
- Two‑year emergency room experience in a hospital setting or equivalent experience
