- Duration: 41 weeks
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,020 - $6,350
- Shift Duration: 16-hour days
- Hours per Week: 32
- Case Types: General, Orthopedic, Obstetric
- Charting System: Epic
- Supervision: Physician supervision with a 1:4 MD-to-CRNA ratio
- Call: No call required
- Overtime: No overtime
Job Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program
- Certification or recertification by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- At least 1 year of CRNA experience required
- Experience with general anesthesia, orthopedic, and obstetric cases preferred
- Ability to work confidently in a collaborative anesthesia care team environment
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Willingness to obtain Virginia state licensure if needed
- Perform pre-anesthesia assessments and review patient history
- Obtain and verify informed patient consent
- Discuss anesthetic options, benefits, and risks with patients
- Induce, maintain, and emerge patients from anesthesia safely and effectively
- Monitor physiological status throughout the anesthetic course
- Provide appropriate clinical intervention when needed
- Work collaboratively with supervising physicians and the anesthesia team
- Deliver high-quality anesthesia care across a variety of surgical case types
