Meta is seeking an Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Lead to join our Data Center Facility Operations team.

Our data centers serve as the foundation upon which our suite of products operates to meet the demands of our customers.

The EHS Lead will work with the global EHS team and local data center site management to develop and proven experience acting as a subject matter expert in the area of EHS program to keep all data center employees and all Meta partners safe while working at our facilities and ensure compliance with our EHS standards.

  • 8+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety field
  • Bachelor's degree in safety or health sciences, or related discipline
  • 4+ years of experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety field in lieu of 8+ years of experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety field
  • Experience in EHS program management and execution
  • Experience in leading or managing incident investigation and mitigation
  • Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  • 12+ years' experience working in the Environmental, Health and Safety field
  • Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  • Experience with NFPA 70E, management of federal regulations and/or environmental permitting processes
  • EHS certifications from Board of Certified Safety Professional (BCSP) or equivalent international agency
  • Experience or understanding of procedure-based work
  • Experience working in a mission critical environment
  • Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  • Bachelor's degree in safety related field
