The company offers equipment sales, rentals, parts, and field service to support customers across a range of heavy equipment needs. The team focuses on responsive service, product expertise, and long-term customer relationships within the heavy equipment industry.

Role Description The Heavy Equipment Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role located in Papillion, NE. In this position, the mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair heavy equipment, including hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. Daily responsibilities include performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, completing service documentation, and coordinating with service manager and parts personnel. The mechanic will use diagnostic tools, follow safety protocols, and support field service needs as required.

This role contributes directly to keeping customer equipment operating efficiently and safely.

Qualifications

  • Strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance for heavy machinery and related fleets.
  • Hands-on experience with Equipment Repair and Heavy Equipment systems, including hydraulic and mechanical components.
  • Proficient Troubleshooting abilities for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on heavy equipment.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, shop procedures, and proper use of tools and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work orders.
  • Previous experience as a heavy equipment or diesel mechanic preferred; vocational or technical training is a plus.
  • Physical ability to lift heavy parts, work in varying outdoor conditions, and stand for extended periods.
  • Reliable communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality workmanship.
