Position SummaryThe Regional Technical Trainer is responsible for delivering technical, operational, safety, and compliance training programs throughout an assigned region. This position serves as a subject matter expert in pest management, providing hands-on instruction, field coaching, technical support, and professional development opportunities for technicians, supervisors, and branch leadership.
The Regional Technical Trainer works closely with operations leaders to improve technician performance, strengthen technical knowledge, promote regulatory compliance, and ensure consistent service quality across all branches within the region.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver technical, safety, and compliance training programs.
- Conduct technician ride-along and field evaluations.
- Coach employees on pest identification, inspections, treatment strategies, and customer communication.
- Train and support new hires and existing team members.
- Assist with licensing, certification, and continuing education requirements.
- Serve as a technical resource for managers and technicians.
- Help troubleshoot complex pest management issues in the field.
- Maintain training records and track employee progress.
- Support company initiatives related to service quality, safety, and operational excellence.
- 3+ years of pest control industry experience.
- Strong knowledge of pest biology, identification, and treatment methods.
- State pesticide licenses as required.
- Excellent communication and coaching skills.
- Ability to travel throughout the assigned region including possible overnight stays.
- ACE certification preferred.
To develop knowledgeable, confident, and compliant pest management professionals through effective training, coaching, and technical support while promoting safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement.
