Sr Process Engineering Manager

In this role, you will work with and be part of the management team of 500+ full time individuals over all facilities and will be responsible for managing and coaching the engineering functions - process, project and reliability.

Key responsibilities include:

• Increase production efficiency, production capacity, product quality at minimum CAPEX
• Ensure safe, stable and reliable process operation
• Support business units to satisfy legal requirements in production by providing technical solutions
• Provide expertise on highest level and unique know how in different disciplines
• Direct the activities of the engineering staff to improve the safety and operational efficiency of the plants.
• Prioritize all improvement activities including projects destined for Capital Engineering.
• Provide technical solutions for Process Safety and deliver calculations to guarantee safe process operation.

A few target requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering, higher preferred.
• Previous work in chemical industry.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Broad process engineering competence and significant Process Engineering experience. Ability to develop Process Engineering solutions for most complex process systems.
• The disciplines are:
• Conceptual Process Design and Benchmarking: conceptual process design, process synthesis, energy efficiency projects, energy integration, pinch analysis,
• Fluid and Solid Processing: design of distillation and absorption processes, extraction, phase separation, crystallization, filtration, drying,
• Process Modeling and Control: mathematical modeling, process simulation incl. dynamic simulation, mathematical optimization, process data analysis, development and design of process control systems, controller tuning,
• Operation Support and Safety: process equipment design, fluid dynamics incl. CFD, mixing technology, polymer technology, process and plant safety, e.g. design of safety valves.
