Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting

Are you a seasoned financial professional ready to take on a pivotal role in a publicly traded organization? Our client is seeking a Sr. Manager of Financial Reporting to lead SEC reporting efforts and more.

Key Responsibilities:
  • SEC Reporting:
    Prepare and review quarterly/annual financial statements and disclosures, including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K.
  • Technical Accounting:
    Perform research and document conclusions on complex accounting issues following US GAAP and SEC regulations.
  • New Accounting Pronouncements:
    Research and implement new accounting standards while understanding their economic impact.
  • Equity Compensation:
    Oversee all aspects of equity compensation, including RSAs, RSUs, and ESOs.
  • M&A Support:
    Coordinate and manage purchase price allocations with internal M&A and external valuation teams.
  • Investor Relations:
    Review financial information for Investor Relations documents, such as press releases and presentations.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with various departments, including accounting, legal, and internal/external auditors.
  • Audit Coordination:
    Manage audit requests with internal and external auditors during reviews and audits.
  • Internal Controls:
    Assist with compliance and maintenance of internal controls over financial reporting.
  • Ad Hoc Projects:
    Execute ad hoc reporting and projects as requested.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance.
  • CPA designation strongly preferred.
  • Comprehensive understanding of U.S. GAAP, SEC, and Sarbanes-Oxley.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting/financial reporting experience, with an SEC registrant.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Experience with ERP and Reporting software.
