Tenure Business Analyst
Our enterprise Healthcare client is seeking a tenure Business Analyst for a 6 month contract / temporary assignment. 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:- Interface with Business Subject Matter Experts and Process Owners to:
- Understand, document Business Process and underlying Data Requirements
- Lead discussion of these Requirements during the daily Scrum and Sprint Planning Meetings
- Understand and represent the perspectives and priorities of the Product Owner
- Understand in technical detail the systems and data in the in-scope Business Processes
- Utilize technical Skills Tools and Techniques to document data / data quality / data gaps for in-scope Business Processes (including, but not limited to Microsoft SQL, PL/SQL, Snowflake SQL)
- Work with the Product Owner and represent the Intent of the Business to the Team
- Lead / Facilitate Business Requirement Documentation >
Sprint Grooming (Discovery) from both process and data perspectives - Lead in writing User Stories / User Features definition for the Product Backlog
- Co-Lead / Facilitate Sprint Planning with Tech Lead and Scrum Master
- Lead in Release Backlog Refinement and take part in Release Planning
- Co-Lead the Sprint Review from Business Requirements perspective with Scrum Master and Tech Lead
- Identify, communicate and manage risks to successful project execution
- Contribute to the wider organizational Agile Transformation
- Actively participates in other technology improvement initiatives such as continuous deployment
- Report on work as well as Agile adoption progress at the program level
Experience:
- 7+ years of experience in Scrum or similar disciplines of Agile
- Agile Certification desired
- Exposure to Scaled Agile concepts
- Detail orientation, problem solver, self-starter proactively engages with the situation and make progress
- Great attention to detail and ability to jump to the lower level to resolve issues if required
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams with diverse styles, skills, and abilities across cultures
- Strong communication, negotiation, influencing and conflict resolution skills
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a technical discipline or a BA with equivalent software experience, or significant project experience in lieu of BA.
