Warehouse Associate - Wholesale Distribution

Position Summary: The primary responsibility of the Warehouse Associate is to assist in the day-to-day operations of a pharmaceutical distribution warehouse. This role also supports inventory control, maintains a clean and organized workspace, and addresses shipping-related issues to facilitate smooth operations on the production floor.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Pack customers' orders and accompanying paperwork into envelopes, boxes, or coolers with ice as needed.

• Address shipment-related issues using the shipping solution software.

• Assist with processing / receiving daily purchase orders and FIFO inventory control

• Help organize and store supplies appropriately.

• Support the retrieval of supplies from stock and their transfer to the production floor.

• Maintain workstations and ensure the production floor area is clean and organized.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Ability to lift and move supplies or packages and lift heavy objects up to 40 pounds

• Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays in alignment with departmental and industry demands

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED

• Previous experience in a shipping, warehouse, or production environment (1-2 years preferred).

Preferred Skill/Abilities:

• Prior experience in warehouse or distribution/ fulfillment operations preferred.

• Familiarity with shipping software and inventory management systems (preferred).

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

• Production/warehouse environment, with exposure to some noise and machinery.

Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift, pull, push containers up to 40.
