THE JOB:It is the responsibility of the Dispatcher to provide excellent internal and external Guest Service by using excellent service and communication skills to support the guest, engineers and other departments in their goals.
THE STARTING RATE:$21.00 Per hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:Manage computerized maintenance management systems to prioritize, manage and dispatch maintenance team, complete assigned administrative tasks on a consistent basis
Recognize required needs of a fast-paced environment by using good judgment and the ability to multi-task; own all requests and complaints; resolve issues immediately and follow up to ensure the guest's satisfaction; answer incoming calls and assist when necessary or direct calls to appropriate areas
Practice teamwork, create a positive work environment, greet fellow employees and thank them when they lend assistance; anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests, no matter how busy or time of day; prioritize guest requests/dispatches
Knowledgeable of Department and Hotel goals; knowledgeable of hotel information to answer guest inquiries, and work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner
Maintain a constant awareness of personal and property cleanliness, safety and accident prevention
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:- Must be 21 years of age or older
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Technical school or completed apprenticeship in similar trade Preferred
- Experience in the hospitality industry or similar environment
- Preferred
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
