Night Shift Machine Operator

Overview

The machine operator is responsible for the day‑to‑day duties in running equipment to produce quality product, safely and on time. The working schedule will be 12‑hour rotating shifts from 5:00pm–5:00am with every other weekend scheduled.

• Continuously monitor and maintain product quality based on established standards, including visual and mechanical inspection of product, and work safely at all times following safety policies and procedures.
• Perform setups in accordance with established procedures, operate equipment, and load/unload equipment.
• Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures, and work orders.
• Maintain and log all information required for supporting traceability and quality.
• Participate in cross‑training activities.
• Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition.
• Perform other duties as required or directed.

• Strongly prefer candidates with mechanical ability or previous machine‑operator experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot.
• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Must be able to pass background check and drug test, including medical marijuana.
• Prior manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Must be able to stand up to 12 hours per day.
• Must be able to walk 8‑10 hours per day for short distances.
• Must be able to push/pull up to 66 pounds multiple times per day.
• Must be able to bend 10‑20 times per day.
• Must be able to squat 20 times per day.
• Must be able to climb a step ladder (4‑6 steps) 4‑5 times per day.
• Must be able to reach 10 times per day.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Must be able to twist moving reels multiple times per day.
• Must be able to grasp, manipulate, push/pull 40‑50 times per day.
• Demonstrate mechanical and computer skills.
• Must be able to multitask and troubleshoot.
