Production Operator

Production Operator – Paragould, AR

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for Production Operators to join our dynamic team at the Paragould, AR facility. The role focuses on ensuring efficient production and packaging of a quality product while maintaining cost effectiveness and fostering employee morale.

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour with $0.75 shift differential for nights.

• Night Shift: 6:55 pm to 7:00 am
• Day Shift: 6:55 am to 7:00 pm

• Operate thermoforming equipment (extruders, ovens, forming machines, and trim press) at targeted efficiencies while maintaining product quality and following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Troubleshoot and adjust equipment settings.
• Ensure product quality through visual inspections and testing equipment.
• Retrieve and enter product information using a computer.
• Verify that labels and packaging materials match product and work orders.
• Assist with changeovers and minor preventive maintenance.
• Promote timely and effective communication between packers, other operators, supervisors, and support staff.
• Follow all safety policies and ensure team members adhere to safety standards.
• Perform tasks such as lifting up to 70 lbs, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and pulling for up to 12 hours a day in a loud, high‑volume environment.

• One (1) or more years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, agricultural, or military environment.
• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smartphone.

• Three (3) or more years of experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, automotive, agricultural, or military environment.
