Inline Operator

Lead and coordinate Inline machine to achieve planned results by ensuring maximum machine output, communicating expectations, maintaining safe working environment, and initiating continuous improvement projects.

• Operate, monitor, and produce quality product to customer's satisfaction at the Inline
• Set up the Inline to specs according to the work instructions
• Operate an overhead crane and drive a forklift to move product
• Promote good housekeeping, 5S, and safety practices in all activities completed daily.
• Must be able to perform all tasks assigned to the Inline in a timely manner
• Must have the ability to solve technical issues as you are running product
• Operator must be self-motivated and be able to perform day-to-day task without guidance
• Ability to operate production equipment
• Good knowledge of all safety procedures while operating the Inline
• Ability to complete any assigned instructions from VSL

• Read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide)
• Ability to work with others, collaborate with others, and help others around you

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and work instructions.

A Safety-Sensitive Function, as defined by the Company, is one that requires the operation of motor vehicles, forklifts, or motorized warehouse equipment, or one that involves inspecting, servicing, conditioning, controlling, supervising, loading or unloading such machinery.

Employees performing "Safety-Sensitive Functions" are prohibited from reporting to work or being on duty while under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

Salary: $21.72 - $26.03 per hour
