Material Handler

Anchor Packaging, a Georgia Pacific company, is looking for Material Handlers for its Distribution Centers in Paragould and Jonesboro.

$18.00 to $21.50 per hour.

• Night Shift 5:00 pm – 5:00 am (Paragould Distribution Center)
• Day Shift 5:00 am – 5:00 pm (Paragould Distribution Center)
• Day Shift 6:00 am – 6:00 pm (Lincoln Building – Jonesboro Distribution Center)

• Move raw materials and stock using forklift and material handling equipment.
• Perform all system-related transactions to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Assist with preparation of material orders and truck orders; maintain accurate raw material, pallet, and carton counts.
• Restock raw materials and pick locations for order fulfillment.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Maintain a clean manufacturing facility and warehouse; perform daily forklift inspections.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on material handling equipment.
• Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.

• Experience operating a forklift.

• Forklift certification.
• Experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting.
