Position Summary
The Buyer 1 or 2 supports the procurement and merchandising teams by assisting in the sourcing, purchasing, and management of products or materials. This role is ideal for an early-career professional looking to develop foundational buying skills, including vendor coordination, order management, inventory tracking, and data analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in creating and managing purchase orders to ensure timely and accurate procurement
- Support vendor communication regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Track and maintain inventory levels to help prevent shortages or excess stock
- Monitor order status and follow up on outstanding shipments
- Assist in analyzing sales trends, demand forecasts, and inventory performance
- Maintain accurate product, pricing, and supplier information in internal systems
- Support the buying team with product selection, assortment planning, and promotions
- Help identify cost‑saving opportunities and process improvements
- Prepare reports and presentations related to purchasing activities
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, logistics, and operations teams
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Merchandising, or related field (or equivalent experience preferred)
- 1- 4years of experience in purchasing, procurement, retail, or a related field
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
- Internship or prior experience in buying, merchandising, or supply chain
- Familiarity with ERP or inventory management systems
- Basic understanding of supply chain or retail operations
- Problem‑solving and critical thinking
- Time management and prioritization
- Team collaboration
- Adaptability and willingness to learn
This role provides a strong foundation for advancement into Buyer, Senior Buyer, or Category Manager roles.

For informational purposes only, the range of pay for this role is $59,500 to $ US Dollar (USD) Hourly based on a variety of factors. For informational purposes only, this role is eligible to participate in the Company's Quarterly Cash Bonus Plan, paid out at the quarterly bonus factor of 1X the Company's bonus multiple, based on the Company's performance in the applicable quarter.
Employees will receive 80 hours paid time off every year. Employees will also receive 10 paid holidays. Employees (and their families) are eligible to participate in the company's medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are eligible to enroll in the Company's 401(k) plan.
This position requires use of information or access to production processes subject to national security controls under U.S. export control laws and regulations (including, but not limited to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR)). To comply with those regulations, this position may require applicants to be U.S. Persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, U.S. lawful permanent residents, protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)), or eligible to obtain the required export authorizations from the U.S. Department of State or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
