- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of hands-on forging manufacturing experience.
- Strong understanding of forging operations, process controls, and production floor support activities.
- Experience with seamless rolled ring manufacturing.
- Experience in aerospace or high-performance alloy forging environments.
- Knowledge of nickel-based superalloys, titanium alloys, and specialty metals.
- Familiarity with RCCA methodologies, problem-solving tools, and continuous improvement practices.
- Experience working directly with manufacturing operators and shop floor personnel.
- Statistical analysis experience, including process capability studies, trend analysis, and data interpretation.
- Experience utilizing Minitab, Excel, SPC tools, or similar statistical software.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-floor process validation activities throughout forging and manufacturing operations.
- Gather, document, and analyze manufacturing process data through direct observation and manual data collection methods.
- Support Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Observe and verify compliance with established manufacturing procedures and process controls.
- Collaborate with production, quality, engineering, and metallurgical teams to identify process variation and improvement opportunities.
- Develop clear documentation, reports, and findings to support customer and internal requirements.
- Assist in identifying process trends and manufacturing performance drivers through statistical analysis.
- Respond quickly to changing project priorities, customer requirements, and operational needs.
- Support implementation and verification of corrective and preventive actions.
