Forklift Operator, Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
The Machine Operator will setup, calibrate, and operate the waterjet and/or CNC machine. Responsibilities also include inspecting products against customer specifications and assisting with other warehouse duties. Position located at Banner Industries.
Compensation & HoursTraining starts 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. After training, hours shift to 2:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. Pay ranges $23–$26 per hour plus incentive eligibility.
Key Responsibilities- Sets up and operates cutting machine(s) in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Performs programming and/or editing on assigned machine(s).
- Conducts preventative maintenance on assigned machine(s) and related equipment.
- Assists with other warehouse responsibilities as requested.
- Performs material movement tasks for order filling, receiving, and loading.
- Uses assigned power equipment—crown truck, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, forklift—to safely move material and meet order requirements.
- Follows customer requirements to select, fill and package orders.
- Works scheduled overtime and emergency/mandatory overtime as needed.
- Stooping, standing, and manual dexterity required.
- Light lifting (occasional 25 lbs or less).
- Heavy lifting (frequent 25 lbs+).
- Must wear assigned safety equipment at all times (hard hat, safety shoes with metatarsal, safety glasses with side shields, gloves, arm guards).
- Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.
- Three years of warehouse experience.
- Capable of obtaining certification in assigned equipment (waterjet machine, forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.).
- Advanced measurement competency.
- Knowledge of commonly used warehouse concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Strong work ethic.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year of general work experience.
- One year of equipment experience.
- PC literacy.
- Certified in assigned equipment (forklift, Raymond side-loader, overhead crane, etc.).
