Position Summary
The Quality Analyst I provides entry-level support to the Quality department by assisting with quality documentation, certifications, and shipping-related quality requirements. This role focuses on ensuring customer and regulatory documentation is accurate and complete prior to shipment, while supporting basic quality system activities in a manufacturing environment. The Quality Analyst I works closely with Quality, Shipping, and Production teams to help ensure on-time delivery and compliance with aerospace requirements.
PrimaryDuties & Responsibilities Quality Certifications & Documentation
- Assist in preparing and reviewing quality certifications, including Certificates of Conformance (C of
C), material certifications, and customer-required documentation. - Verify that manufacturing travelers, inspection records, and test results are complete and accurate prior to shipment.
- Maintain organized quality records in accordance with internal procedures and customer requirements.
- Support the final review and release of parts for shipment by ensuring all quality documentation is complete and approved.
- Coordinate with Shipping and Quality to resolve documentation discrepancies that may delay shipments.
- Assist with packaging and labeling verification to ensure compliance with customer and aerospace requirements.
- Perform basic visual inspections of parts and documentation under supervision.
- Assist with Root Cause Corrective actions and data collection as needed.
- Help track and log nonconforming material and documentation issues.
- Enter quality and shipping data into internal systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with maintaining controlled quality documents and records.
- Support audit preparation by locating and organizing records.
- Communicate effectively with Quality, Production, and Shipping teams to support daily operations.
- Escalate documentation or quality issues to Quality leadership as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing or quality documentation preferred.
- Ability to follow established procedures and instructions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Mathematical and/or scientific aptitude preferred
- Associate degree or coursework in Quality, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
- 1-2 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, shipping, or administrative support preferred.
- Aerospace or AS9100 experience is a plus but not required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to airborne particles and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
