• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, product pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
• Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

The Utilities Clerk is responsible for the store maintenance to ensure the store is clean and safe at all times. Duties include properly bagging groceries for customers when needed, carrying groceries for customers upon request, maintaining and retrieving store carts, running price checks, assisting with go-backs, assisting with check stand upkeep, and removing waste from the parking area. The role supports the Produce Department and assists customers on the store floor as required.

The working environment is typical for a fast-paced grocery store. Essential functions include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking, kneeling, and visual and auditory requirements.
