Position Summary
The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and deliver all freight undamaged. Work as a team player to deliver, load/unload materials while providing a world class customer service experience.
Duties & Responsibilities- Inspect truck/trailer for defects for safe operation.
- Safely load building materials onto flatbed or boom truck and unload products at commercial and residential job sites.
- Deliver materials to assigned area as directed by the customer while prioritizing personal safety and the safety of those around you.
- Maintain records required for compliance with State and Federal regulations.
- Report all accidents involving driver or company equipment.
- Lift heavy building materials up to 100+ lbs. for load/unload.
- Provide excellent customer service skills and professional attitude.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a minimum Class B License;
Class A strongly preferred. - Clear three (3) year Motor Vehicle Report (MVR).
- Overall knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations.

- Remain in a stationary position while driving a commercial vehicle 40% of the time.
- Lifts heavy building materials up to 80 lbs. for loading/unloading and frequently moves materials weighing up to 80 lbs. while unloading flatbed.
- Constantly move from unloading materials from a commercial motor vehicle onto job sites, operate a commercial or boom vehicle, and position self to unload materials.
- Judges distance while delivering materials and operating a boom.
- Communicates with management and coworkers, exchanging accurate information in these situations.
- Works constantly in an outdoor environment while making deliveries.
- Prioritizes job sites and deadlines.
- Manages stress based on customer deadlines.
- Multitasks efficiently.
- Receives information and directions promptly.
- Communicates solutions quickly if problems occur.
- Demonstrates a high degree of sound judgement.
The base salary for this position typically falls within the range of $27.07 to $34.42 per hour.
