About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our client's finance team located in Paramus, NJ. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career accounting professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
- Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
- Assist with financial reports and audits as needed
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (internships welcome)
- Basic understanding of general accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with accounting software a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively on-site in Paramus, NJ
