Job DetailsA well‑established, small public accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant to support a broad range of client services, including tax, assurance, and advisory work. This role offers hands‑on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership in a collaborative environment. The firm values professionalism, quality work, and long‑term employee development, and fosters a supportive, inclusive culture focused on balance and growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
- Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements
- Supervise and review bookkeeping work and related engagements
- Support clients with general accounting and tax‑related projects and inquiries
- Assist with training and mentoring junior‑level accountants
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
Master’s or MBA a plus - CPA license or active pursuit of licensure
- 3+ years of public accounting (CPA firm) experience
- Experience with common tax and accounting software platforms (e.g., CCH environments, Quick Books, Sage preferred)
- Strong Excel and MS Office skills (including lookups and pivot tables)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and research abilities
- Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
