Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant – Public Accounting | Growing Firm | Hybrid

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000 per year.

A well‐established public accounting firm seeks a Senior Accountant to support a broad range of client services, including tax, assurance, and advisory work. The role offers hands‑on exposure, client interaction, and the opportunity to work closely with firm leadership in a collaborative environment.

• Prepare partnership, corporate, fiduciary, and individual tax returns
• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Supervise and review bookkeeping work and related engagements
• Support clients with general accounting and tax‑related projects and inquiries
• Assist with training and mentoring junior‑level accountants

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
  Master’s or MBA a plus
• CPA license or active pursuit of licensure
• 3+ years of public accounting (CPA firm) experience
• Experience with common tax and accounting software platforms (e.g., CCH environments, Quick Books, Sage preferred)
• Strong Excel and MS Office skills (including lookups and pivot tables)

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Detail‑oriented with excellent analytical and research abilities
• Self‑motivated with a strong work ethic
• Effective time management and organizational skills
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
