Salary: $75,000 - $95,000 per year
We are seeking a detail-oriented Legal Biller / Accounting Specialist to join a fast-paced, professional services environment. This role is responsible for managing the full billing cycle, supporting accounting operations, and ensuring accurate and timely invoicing in a high-volume setting.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with billing guidelines
- Manage full-cycle legal billing, including edits, adjustments, and write-offs
- Submit electronic invoices through e-billing platforms (e.g., LEDES formats)
- Monitor accounts receivable and follow up on outstanding balances
- Reconcile billing records and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with attorneys, clients, and internal teams on billing inquiries
- Assist with month-end close, reporting, and general accounting support
- 3+ years of legal billing and/or accounting experience
- Strong understanding of billing processes, AR concepts, and financial reporting
- Experience with e-billing systems and billing software preferred
- High attention to detail and accuracy in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
