Principal, Vice Principals and Supervisor of Visual and Performing Arts/21st Century Life and Careers Job Goal(s):
The middle school music teacher position includes directing the middle school bands and teaching small group lessons.

* Provides small and large group instruction for students in grades 5-8, including small group lessons on all band instruments.

* Demonstrates a strong background in instrumental music education and conducting.

* Builds a school and classroom culture in which students gain an interest in and appreciation for music and the arts.

* Guides instruction toward achievement of established NJSLS and district curriculum goals and implements a variety of teaching and assessment techniques, including formative and summative, to ensure student achievement and engagement.

Qualifications:

* New Jersey Teacher of Music, K-12 certification

Salary: $57,547.00 (BA, Step
1) for 25-26 school year;
