Savvas Learning Company is seeking a part‑time Curriculum Specialist to support our K‑12 Math curriculum in our Mountain West territory, which includes Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Montana, North Dakota, Nebraska, Nevada, Utah, South Dakota, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. The part‑time position requires an education specialist with deep K‑12 knowledge in assigned content area(s), a sales representative who drives and meets market revenue targets, and an expert in delivering sales and introductory product orientation in‑service for print, digital and blended programs.

Ideal locations will be Denver, CO, Phoenix, AZ, or Seattle, WA.

• Deliver winning presentations for each sales cycle to include the six customer touch points:
• Exhibits and Conferences
• Pre‑work and Issue setting workshops
• Meetings and Campaigns
• Pilots
• Sales Presentations
• Program Activation
• Provide Pilot Activation Trainings and consistent, on‑going communication and support for pilot teachers throughout the pilot process.
• Provide customer feedback to sales, product, and marketing teams.
• Maintain content level expertise through the Savvas Learning Company certification process and agreed upon materials.
• Deliver Program Activation trainings for new and ongoing customer accounts.
• Maintain deep understanding of Savvas Learning Company’s print and digital solutions.
• Maintain positive, on‑going relationships with customers during the sales cycle and after activation to provide support or re‑direction to appropriate Savvas Learning Company teams to ensure client satisfaction.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.

• 5+ years of K‑12 education experience, including classroom teaching experience.
• BS or BA;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Biliterate in English/Spanish preferred.
• Specialty training or advanced certification preferred.
• Expert knowledge of education theory and market trends in K‑12 Math.
• Deep knowledge and passion for learning in K‑12 education.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver winning presentations in large and small groups.
• Previous experience in selling and servicing in the education market is desirable.
• Experience in public speaking and creating engaging presentations for teachers, parents, district administrators, superintendents, or adoption committees.
• Strong technology skills, including all presentation software and hardware (PC or Mac, whiteboard technology and 1:1 devices) to develop and deliver multimedia presentations.

• Regional travel required; requests may be made with short notice.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Monitor and control timekeeping and expenses in accordance with Savvas Learning Company Travel and Entertainment policies.
• Collaborate with team members and all departments, including sales, services, and operations, to address customer satisfaction issues and ensure customer success.
• Self‑starter; occasionally responsible for self‑directed training and preparedness.
• Have pointed conversations with school districts regarding K‑12 Math.
• Understand sales campaign strategy, market trends, and the full continuum of Savvas Learning Company services.

Hiring range: $37/hr – $40/hr compensable time includes program and pilot activation, internal training ($30/hr), and travel & administrative ($20/hr). The posted hiring range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting and remains subject to modification.
